This magnificent Beaux-Arts building is located at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street in the heart of Manhattan. Opened in 1911, the building is guarded by the world renowned Edward Clark Potter lions, Patience and Fortitude.

Any tenting or use of the exterior of the Library, including the Front Steps and Plaza areas, require permission from Bryant Park Restoration Corporation. Fees apply.
