Indexes and abstracts can be searched by AUTHOR, SUBJECT or KEYWORD. The Science, Industry and Business Library (SIBL) subscribes to print and electronic indexes. The electronic version of an index is usually more up-todate. If you are doing comprehensive research, always check the date coverage of an index, since the electronic equivalents of print indexes do not always cover the same time period. Where to locate PRINT & ELECTRONIC indexes:Electronic Indexes: Electronic indexes are often called databases. For more information
about databases and how to locate them go to the following Web page: Print Indexes: Print indexes (paper format) can be found in the open-shelf reference collection located on the lower level of SIBL. The following is a list of print indexes with their call numbers. When an electronic version of a print index is also available, the database title is listed. Please check the CATNYP catalog for date coverage.
