A user can search using keywords to find words in a title, words in the first line of a song, or words in the title of a show.

For example a Song Title Keyword search with the words “lady” and “luck”

Lady Luck

Will provide an alphabetical listing of song titles.

The song index uses the keyword title as its default search.  In order to gain greater precision, it is possible to search the exact title by using the pull down menu to select Song Title (Alphabetical).

If you were to search “luck be a lady” through the song title search as below.

luck be a lady

You will get as many responses as songs with that exact title.   In this example, there is only one song with this title, but there are several books that contain this song.
