A Guide to the Collections
of The New York Public Library

The General Research Division, located in Room 315, collects materials related to Christianity, as well as those areas of religion which impinge on other scholarly disciplines. The Library collects the writings of the principal Christian theologians as well as critical literature about them. There are many editions of the Bible, the standard Bible commentaries, and works on persons of the Bible in the collections.
